“The benefit is that our decision-making is much more objective. We know the list price for each customer and have better visibility into profit margins. Epicor provides concrete data to share with salespeople when they want to offer deeper discounts, and we can also use this information to negotiate supplier support for discounts.”
Similarly, Epicor Kinetic has enhanced the company’s approach to managing bills of materials (BOM). “We’ve been able to standardize production tracking steps, giving us deeper insights into product costs at each stage. Epicor also enables us to quickly identify root causes of problems, whether related to materials or processes. This saves us both time and cost in troubleshooting,” Sin explained.
Supply chain management is another key area that has benefited from Epicor Kinetic. Sin emphasized:

Lead times that were once five months are now 14 months. Additionally, Techcomp recently implemented Epicor Mobile Warehouse at its Shanghai facility. Sin noted:
“We expect to improve warehouse management and quality control by assigning serial numbers to components, enabling faster root-cause tracing and shortening diagnostic times. We also expect an improvement in quality assurance rates.”
Data-Driven Decision Making
Looking ahead, Sin plans to roll out Epicor Kinetic to additional European sites within the next 12 months. He explained:
